MEC Lehari Ends Mandela Month With a Joint North West and Northern Cape Interprovincial Road Safety Law Enforcement Campaign in Magogong, Taung

MEC Lehari begins the MEC Led Operation at a higher level, this time, the Interprovincial Joint Law Enforcement Operations was at Magogong, Taung, along the N18. It was a massive 60 men and women in Blue and in Beige Joint Law Enforcement Agencies from NC: Provincial Traffic and Phokwane Municipality Traffic and SAPS. The operation started at 13h30 and former MEC Dr Motlhabane came by to greet his successor, Hon Lehari. Lt Col Sereetsi led the NC, He is the SAPS Harstwater Station Commander. Whereas SAPS Taung Cluster was led by Brigadier Tlotleng and Provincial Traffic led Control Keetile.

NC and NW: Immigration officials, SANDF Miltary Officers, Emergency Medical Services, NC Traffic officials, SAPS, Road Safety and dept officials were had at work.

with the last motorists nabbed for Drunken Driving, driving without a driving license and worn out tyres. A car without corresponding disc, license plate and ownership was also discovered and escorted to the Harstwater and Taung Police Stations and pound rrspectively as another was a state vehicle driven with a defective itenerary/root form. Two cars were impounded too. The 86 strong contingent of men and women in uniform outdid themselves and Acting Chief Director Dikobe took an opportunity to thank them on behalf of MEC Lehari as he dismisses the parade around 16:20
